A Message from the Council President

On behalf of the Pearland ISD Council of PTAs Board, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your commitment to supporting PTA’s mission to “make every child’s potential a reality.”

Pearland ISD students and schools need leaders like you—passionate, thoughtful, resourceful, and committed to making a difference. You show up, day after day. You plan meaningful events, solve problems, support families, advocate for students, and, many times, prioritize the needs of others before your own. Your leadership and service do not go unnoticed.

Pearland ISD Council of PTAs is here to support you year-round. Whether you’re new to leadership or have years of experience, we invite you to use National and Texas PTA resources, connect and collaborate with Pearland PTA leaders, and lean on your Council Board for support and guidance.

How you can stay plugged in:

• Watch for our social media post on Facebook and GroupMe. PLEASE share these with your board.

• Attend PISD Council meetings and trainings.

• Read and reference your bylaws, standing rules (if applicable), and Texas PTA resource guides.

• Visit the TX PTA Local Google Document frequently to monitor membership and good-standing information.

• Explore our new Texas PTA Resource & Vendor Directory, a go-to list of companies and organizations that support PTA with services for fundraisers, programs, yearbooks, and more—bookmark it or download the PDF today!

• Please check this website regularly for updates and changes.

Whatever your concerns or questions may be, we are here to help you. We are committed to helping you, PTA, and make every child’s potential a reality at your school and throughout the Pearland ISD community.

Thank you for choosing to lead, serve, and advocate for our students and public schools. I am excited to see what we accomplish together this year!
