A Message from the Council President

As I rushed around this week preparing for Homecoming Week with my two daughters at Pearland High School, it hit me that this year started fast. Really fast, and then I think about all of our volunteers having to do the same. PTA leaders were meeting before school started just to be ready for this year. Volunteers have already been out in force in concession stands, and PTAs are starting to plan how to support dances, games, and special events at each of your schools.

I couldn’t be more proud to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year in Pearland ISD… But I think you already know that!

How you can stay plugged in: 

• Watch for our social media post on Facebook and GroupMe. PLEASE share these with your board.

• Attend PISD Council meetings and trainings.

• Read and reference your bylaws, standing rules (if applicable), and Texas PTA resource guides.

• Visit the TX PTA Local Google Document frequently to monitor membership and good-standing information.

• Explore our new Texas PTA Resource & Vendor Directory, a go-to list of companies and organizations that support PTA with services for fundraisers, programs, yearbooks, and more—bookmark it or download the PDF today!

Whatever your concerns or questions may be, we are here to help you. We are committed to helping you, PTA, and make every child’s potential a reality at your school and throughout the Pearland ISD community.

On behalf of the entire Pearland ISD Council of PTAs Board, I would like to THANK YOU for all that you do by serving others in your school and community, and for committing yourself to the success of children and being their voice. As a council, we are very excited and ready to help you become a stronger leader by assisting you and your entire team with the necessary information that you will need for a successful year.
